All Church Outreach

Every month, you will see a community outreach opportunity in our lobby where the whole church will get to be a part of sharing the love of Jesus to our local community. These events don’t happen on their own, we have an amazing team that prepares these projects for us, and we are always looking for extra hands to help set up these events! This is a team where you can jump in to help as you’re available, with plenty of opportunities to help!

Check out the descriptions of the volunteer In the community teams below!

NKU Ministry

This team will develop outreach opportunities to the students on Northern Kentucky University’s campus.

Breakfast Buddies @ RSP

In a rare partnership with a public school, the Regional School Program located in Cold Spring accepts students with severe problems from multiple school districts. Once a month we take doughnuts to the students and spend time talking and praying with them. While females are encouraged to consider this outreach, the student population is heavily males, so having males pray for them would be powerful for the students. We pray with students the second Wednesday of each month.

Reset House Help

This team will mentor and support both males and females who are looking to turn their life around and be a follower of Jesus. There are multiple ways to serve including cooking meals, Bible counselors/mentors, and a party planner for house activities. There are three reset houses, two for females and one for males.

Senior Care

When a person goes to a nursing home, they may begin to feel they are forgotten about. This team visits Seasons Nursing Home to make sure the residents know that Jesus has not forgotten them. They can feel the love of Jesus from those who volunteer to spend time with them.

Campbell County Middle School

Help us partner with CCMS to give them support from their local church. We hope to send prayers and encouragement to the staff, get the families connected with a church if they need it, and be able to help tutor the students in the near future. We will provide monthly check ins and help sponsor community events. This is a great program for any parents!

Craft Group @ Holly Hill

Would you like to mentor female teens that are troubled and needing positive female role models? Can you build crafts and complete projects? We are looking for females 18 years and up to mentor young ladies at Holly Hill the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.

Prayers for Teachers @ RSP

This team is focused on the teachers and staff at the school through the Regional School Program. They are in a volatile, high-pressure job on a daily basis, and it benefits them to know that there is a team praying and supporting them.

Healthy Snack @ RSP

The Regional School Program in Cold Spring serves troubled students from multiple school districts and they long for healthy snacks. This team provides health snacks to teachers to distribute to their students throughout the school day.

Meal Train

When someone has a life change, like a new baby, or maybe recovering from a surgery, having to cook dinner is the last thing on their minds. Having a nice meal provided to them makes a huge impact! This team helps provide meals to families in our local community.

Pantry Packs @ RSP

While students are provided two meals while attending the Regional School Program, there is not a guarantee they have healthy food at home. Pantry Packs make sure they have plenty of food during the weekends by preparing bags of food for at least 50 students to take home. Help us coordinate, stuff and/or deliver the Pantry Packs to the Regional School Program. They meet every other Tuesday at 10am and/or Wednesday at 1pm.

Reset Clothing Connection

This ministry serves to outfit those in need throughout the year. While it meets weekly on Tuesday from 10am to 1pm and Saturday 9am to 12pm, it is a come as you can schedule. Weekly the team sorts clothing donations into two categories. Part of the donations are kept for multiple sales throughout the year, while the rest are baled and sent to Louisville, where they ship them overseas.

Homeless Ministry

This team is focused on the needs and support of homeless shelters in Northern Kentucky. We need volunteers to love and help these people and be the message that Jesus loves them no matter where they are.

His Hands (Hospital Visits)

Fear, worry, anxiety all goes through a person when they check into a hospital. Loneliness, solitude, despair can be the life of a shut-in even while living in their own home. Visitors go to visit, pray, and support those who find themselves in one of the conditions above.
