Searching For A Christian Clinical Counselor On The Internet:

  1. Look up prospective counselors on PsychologyToday.com by searching by counselor’s name or by zip code and filtering results by “Christian” and your insurance. Look at the counselor’s description and determine availability and specialization.

  2. Call your insurance and determine what sessions would cost for that particular counselor or center (co-pay, free sessions, deductible etc).

  3. Call the counseling office and set up your first appointment. They will likely do an “intake” over the phone with you, which includes a few questions to make sure they connect you with a counselor who will be a good fit.
